There have been lots of blessings in my life recently, everyday my children and husband are healthy I'm blessed, but I've had extra blessing I want to share.
First, my sewing class is going really well. It's much smaller than when I first started, but that's good because it's easier to teach and those I have are dedicated. One of the ladies in my class is a missionary from the states who has lived here for 7 years. Her and her husband (who is Philippino) partner with a children's home in Thailand. Last week she came over for a special one-on-one class to learn how tho make pillowcase dressing for the little girls, some if whom are rescued from the sex trade. She also wants to teach what I teach her to those in her bible study. I'll write more about her another time.
There is a couple who joined recently when they heard about my class at a birthday party. They work in the Muslim part of the community, and their hope is to take what they learn from me and take it to their ministry! I'm so excited that this is happening because that was my hope for this class! I don't what to do this forever, I don't have enough to teach for one thing, I just want to pass on what I know for others to use as a tool in their ministry. Praise God that is happening already!
Second. When we moved God blessed us with the exact house we prayed for in the perfect spot. But when we moved here I had no idea it would be used in the way it was this last month. Some friends of ours who live in the province were expecting their second child and and had fears concerning the hospital where they live. The mortality rate there is high, for mother and baby. So they asked if they could stay with us until the baby was born, and for a while after. It was a fun couple of weeks and baby Zachery Dave was born healthy and momma is good too! Blessings!
Also we were able to afford to get a water tank for when they shut of the water, which is often and sometimes for a couple of days. And no one got hurt bringing it over the wall!
